James Edward Taylor

Firefighter James Edward Taylor, age 28, died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident while responding to a call on January 19, 2003 for Bonham Fire Department. James is survived by his mother, wife, son, and daughter.

Memorial

The James Taylor Memorial is located on State Highway 56 East of Bonham.

Memorial Highway

State Highway 56 between Bonham and Dodd City was renamed the James Edward Taylor Memorial Highway as a lasting tribute.
