This is a class exclusively for your 65+ community members. Time has taught us that a body in motion stays in motion, so this is what this class is about. Check monthly calendars for specific class times as dates vary based on the season. Join us for music, lively conversations, and a fun time creating something with your hands.
Exercise 4 U - Tuesdays & Fridays @ 9:00 AM
We will not be holding this class in April due to the room being booked for Books and Blooms.
This is a strength-building and flexibility-improvement exercise class geared for 65 years and up. Using a chair, 2-pound weights, and a stretching band you move at your own ability. Follow along with the video instructor. Used to be Geri-Fit.
Homestead 101 - 2nd Tuesday @ 9:00 am
This is a homesteading class that is all about using your talents and knowledge to help make your life a little easier, more fruitful, and a little more natural. This is a volunteer lead class so if you are interested in sharing your talents and teaching others how to do the same contact Jennifer to discuss the details.
Keep it Crafty - Once a Quarter - See Calendar
This is a class to get your creative juices flowing that meets 4 times a year creating unique pieces that enhance any home. If you are wanting to get out and make some new friends and create something unique for your home this is the place to be. There is no need to register but it is on a first come first create basis.
Trowel and Error Gardening Club - Last Thursday @ 9:00 am
The Gardening Club meets on the last Thursday of the month in the Library's Conference room at 9:00 am. The club is a collection of ladies that come together and ask questions, share ideas, brainstorm together, and encourage each other in their gardening. If you have ever wanted to learn or know anything about gardening or growing plants, these are the ladies to ask!
We also have the Seed Sharing Catalog in the Library. If you have an abundance of a type of seed you want to share you can bring it in and swap it out for another type of seed you may not have.
Yarn Club - 1st and 3rd Saturdays @ 10 am
Join other lovers of yarn to learn a new stitch, tell a favorite story and create something beautiful.
