What does the Teen Library Council (TLC) do?

The TLC's goal is to promote library services to tweens and teens in the community at the Bonham Public Library by:

  • Advising, planning and implementing teen programs.
  • Consulting on design of the Teen website.
  • Writing articles, reviews and creative works for the Teen website.
  • Promoting ideas, reading, programming and expression by and for teens by creating displays in the Young Adult (YA) area.
  • Recommending books, graphic novels, movies, and magazines for the YA collection.
